Talina Edwards

Talina’s passion for architecture was ignited as a child and her love for biophilic design was nurtured by a childhood home built from earth bricks by her father and grandfather. Her approach to sustainable architecture is fuelled by two equally strong impulses—to work from a firm foundation in cutting edge building science and to create buildings that are a joy to experience with all the senses.

Talina brings more than 25 years experience to her architectural practice. She completed PHI Passive House designer certification and has studied with the Living Futures Institute. Her award-winning practice, Talina Edwards Architecture, merged with Envirotecture in 2022.

Talina has gained recognition as an industry leader, celebrated for her sustainable architecture and her tireless work to build a better future. She advocated for more sustainable design as former co-ordinator of Australian Architects Declare and committee member of ArchiTeam Advocacy committee. She also previously served as a board member of the Australian Passivhaus Association. Talina is also a director at sister business Passivhaus Design & Construct.

Talina has a Bachelor of Architecture and Bacherlor of Design from the University of Melbourne and is registered as an architect in VIC and WA.
