We’ve updated and released our Sustainability Action Plan to make it accessible to all.
We’ve been signatories of the “Australian Architects Declare” movement since it commenced in 2020, and our director Talina Edwards was part of the steering committee for a few years - helping communicate to our industry the importance of being a signatory to ‘declare a climate and biodiversity emergency’.
The next step after making the declaration, was to put words into action. Going carbon-neutral as a practice was one of the first recommendations (see our Carbon Neutral journey here which started in 2012). This followed with the invitation to prepare a ‘Sustainability Action Plan’. We’ve had a number of iterations over the years, but have now distilled it down to its essence.
We are a small practice, but our ethos is large.
Our action plan is our commitment to building a better future.
Simple words on paper, yet weighty in action.
This is our way of doing what’s right — every time.
Download our PDF to see what our action plan is.
We share this freely in the hope that it will resonate with others, and you may want to join us in taking the same actions. We welcome feedback and questions.

Talina’s passion for architecture was ignited as a child and her love for biophilic design was nurtured by a childhood home built from earth bricks by her father and grandfather. Her approach to sustainable architecture is fuelled by two equally strong impulses—to work from a firm foundation in cutting edge building science and to create buildings that are a joy to experience with all the senses.
