Great architecture is about more than appearances. Discover how this award-recognised home brings comfort, wellbeing and thoughtful design together.
We're thrilled that Wrighty Tighty Haus has been shortlisted in the Residential New Over $1M category of the 2026 ArchiTeam Awards!
The awards celebrate design excellence, innovation and the positive impact architecture can have on people's lives. For us, this recognition is particularly meaningful because Wrighty Tighty Haus represents everything we believe a home should be: beautiful, comfortable, healthy, resilient and designed around the people who live there.
A home designed around real life
Our clients wanted a warm, quiet and comfortable home that would support their wellbeing, connect them with their garden and adapt to their needs over time.
The result is a generous, light-filled family home in Melbourne's Ivanhoe that combines thoughtful architectural design with rigorous building science.
As a Certified Passivhaus Plus, Wrighty Tighty Haus delivers exceptional thermal comfort, fresh filtered air, acoustic comfort and significantly reduced energy demand.
But great homes are about more than technical performance. Carefully considered spaces, natural materials, beautiful garden connections and personalised interiors make this a home that feels wonderful to live in, every day.
Why this recognition matters
Architecture awards celebrate design excellence, but for our clients, the true measure of success is how well their home works for them.
A home that stays comfortable through Melbourne's changing seasons. A home that feels calm and connected to nature. A home that's designed for changing needs and lower ongoing energy requirements.
These aren't luxuries reserved for award-winning homes. They're qualities we believe should be fundamental to every home.
Wrighty Tighty Haus demonstrates what's possible when passionate clients, architects, builders and consultants collaborate with a shared commitment to getting the details right.
We're grateful to our wonderful clients for their trust and involvement, and delighted to see their home recognised alongside other exceptional Australian projects.
Congratulations to all the 2026 ArchiTeam Awards finalists!
