Envirotecture’s Director Talina and colleague Mia will be hosting a Biophilic Design workshop at this year’s LFIA symposium.
Living Future Australia Institute are back with their sixth annual Symposium – a two-day gathering exploring the theme of Resilience. Through thought-provoking speakers, interactive workshops, and deep dives into buildings and materials, attendees will explore how to design, build, and live in ways that not only endure challenges but grow stronger through them.
Our Director Talina Edwards and teammate Mia Radic are thrilled to be running a workshop titled ‘Banal Biophilia’. Take a peak below at some of the questions they'll be posing to the attendees.
The Great Australian Dream or the Great Australian Ugliness?
Is it possible to bring biophilic beauty to an uninspiring brick veneer house in the ‘burbs?
How can we bring the benefits of biophilic design to our everyday lives (whoever we are), and a deeper connection to nature within our homes (wherever we live)?
How can this relationship with nature improve resilience in the times of metacrises?
Can we feel more grounded, foster a sense of kinship with mother earth, even in an uninspiring concrete jungle or amidst seemingly soulless urban sprawl?
Expect to be challenged, inspired, and connected as we work together towards a regenerative future!
All are welcome to attend. Find out full-details about the symposium here.
We’d also love to extend this 10% discount code for tickets to our contacts: LF-SYM-10
