Our Director, Talina, was delighted to participate in this extension session alongside Rachel Goldlust, Sustainability Researcher at Renew. She joined a panel featuring Matthew Carland, Director and Registered Builder at Carland Constructions, and Sarah Corbet, homeowner of the Lyonville Hemp House.
This Sustainable House Day 2024 Extension discusses choosing the right sustainable building materials for your project, which can be a daunting task. This session talked through the pros and cons of various natural building materials like rammed earth, strawbale and recycled timber, as well as exploring innovative new materials and the ideal environments for their use. Envirotecture have been participating in Sustainable House Day for decades now! We love that this event allows access into Australia’s most unique and inspiring sustainable homes – both in-person and online. And these new extension sessions are an opportunity to hear from the experts in the industry too.
