Our Director Talina Edwards is presenting at the Melbourne Home Show (again) to talk all about healthy, nature-aligned homes
What is ‘biophilia’ and why is it relevant?
Well, we’re glad you asked! Perhaps you didn’t ask, but if you’re reading this then perhaps you might be curious to find out more…
Talina’s presentation at the Home Show is not about doing a hard-sell about buying stuff (which some may feel is what the homeshow is all about!) It’s much more about understanding our intentions behind our decisions, where our priorities lie, and how these choices for our homes impact our health and wellbeing.
It has been said that biophilia is the secret to improved wellbeing!
However, we know the world is saturated with greenwash, so we wouldn’t be so bold as to make that claim! However we can advise that what you’ll learn doesn’t have to cost the earth.
This presentation will take a holistic look at why nature-connection is more than a trend when it comes to the health and wellbeing of our homes.
- How has sustainable design evolved?
- Do buildings affect our wellness?
- How can homes improve the quality of our lives?
- Can buildings have positive impacts for people and planet?
It also references our Evolution to Healthy Homes infographic.
