The cost of building is the most challenging part of every project, regardless of the budget figure. The construction industry has a fascination with square metre rates and we have a love/hate relationship with them.
This document tries to put them in perspective. The astute reader will deduce that this game can be gamed and while many do to serve their immediate needs, for those of us focused on great outcomes there is only one number that matters….
