Sustainable House Day is one of our favourite days of the year. Come and tour diverse homes designed by Envirotecture and talk to homeowners and builders.
Envirotecture is a proud sponsor of this event again this year and nine of our homes are opening their doors. They showcase a wide range of sustainable approaches, such as passive solar design, natural materials, all-electric, low carbon, biophilic design, certified Passivhaus and a PHI EnerPHit renovation projects.
Eight of these homes are in NSW and the ninth is in Victoria. Huge thanks to our wonderful clients and their builders for opening their doors and sharing their stories. Members of the Envirotecture team will also be on hand to answer any questions and show you around.

About the event
Sustainable House Day is an annual event run by Renew that offers the opportunity to explore some of Australia’s most inspiring homes and learn from the people who designed them, built them and live in them. The event has existed in various forms for over 20 years and it's been a true catalysts for sharing knowledge about more sustainable ways to design and build homes and lives.
Envirotecture has participated since the first inception of Sustainable House Day—our first open house tour was in 1998 in Sydney. Our generous clients and hardworking builders have shared dozens of homes with the public over the years. They are proud to share what they've learned about how to build better and to pay this knowledge forward for the benefit of others considering how to best build or renovate.
