As part of this year’s Archibuild expo in Melbourne, our Director Talina and client Emily will be part of a live panel discussion about the design/build process of a family home.
The ARBV (Architects Registration Board of Victoria) is a partner at this year's Archibuild expo, (touted as Australia’s Premier Event for Architecture & Building) and they’ve organised a special live event on stage for the public to learn more about the process of working with an Architect to design and build a custom home.
Our wonderful client, Emily, has agreed to speak about her experience, along with our director Talina in a candid conversation hosted by Hamish from the Mindful Builder podcast. This Q&A will also cover the design brief, sustainable design considerations, construction material choices, recycling and waste, building-performance, collaboration, advocacy, and more.
All are welcome to come along to this session on Saturday 14th of June at 10:30am “Thinking of Building a Home? Here’s why an architect Is your smartest investment” or attend the whole expo across three days at MCEC Melbourne.
Emily has previously hosted a tour of her home under construction and generously spoke with the our full house of attendees, so we’re very grateful she’s agreed to be a part of this event.
We’re also thankful to the ARBV for the invitation once again to help demystify the process of working with an architect for a sustainable custom home (last year we were filmed for the ‘Naked Architect’ series with our clients Pip and Stephen which can be watched online).
