Sustainable House Day 2011
Sunday 11 September was Sustainable House Day!

We had three projects open for display:

Bathurst’s Sustainable Lifestyle House, cnr Blaxland Drive and McGirr St, Bathurst – we had 550 people through the door – amazing interest in this lovely sustainable home. See the story in the Western Advocate.

Ecobode 180L at Keinbah, Hunter Valley – we had 150 visitors here, all keen to learn about how to do stylish sustainability

Devonshire St Sustainability Hub, 34 Devonshire St, Chatswood (with Willoughby City Council) – We had lots of people wanting to go deeper in their understanding of sustainability.

No need to say more – get out and see some lovely sustainable buildings for yourself, next year!

(and if you are in the Brisbane area, and looking for a great meal or a superb coffee in your travels, don’t go past the Gypsy Cafe – a wonderful piece of ‘adaptive reuse’ of our architectural heritage.)
